ReviewVault is a powerful tool designed to bridge the gap between your eBay seller profile and your Shopify storefront. By displaying your eBay feedback directly on your website, you can build immediate trust with new visitors and increase conversion rates.

ReviewVault fetches your feedback directly from eBay and provides a highly customizable widget (App Block) that integrates seamlessly into your Shopify Theme.

• Installation
  1. Install ReviewVault from the Shopify App Store.
  2. Once installed, you will be redirected to the ReviewVault dashboard within your Shopify Admin.

• Connecting Your eBay Account
  Before you can display any reviews, you must securely connect ReviewVault to your eBay Seller account.
  1. From the ReviewVault Dashboard, locate the **eBay Connection** section.
  2. Click **Connect eBay Account**.
  3. You will be redirected to eBay's secure login page. Log in with the account associated with the feedback you want to display.
  4. Grant ReviewVault the necessary permissions to read your public feedback profile.
  5. Once complete, you will be redirected back to Shopify, and your store will show as **Connected**.

  > We only request read-only access to your public commerce feedback. ReviewVault cannot modify your eBay listings or make purchases on your behalf.

Once your eBay account is connected, you can pull your feedback into ReviewVault.

1. Navigate to the **Settings** or **Dashboard** page in the ReviewVault app.
2. Locate the **Import Reviews** section.
3. Depending on your plan (Free or Premium), select the maximum number of reviews you wish to import (e.g., up to 10 for Free, or unlimited/50+ for Pro).
4. Click **Import Reviews**.
5. The system will securely fetch your latest feedback. A confirmation message will appear once the import is successful.

> The app will capture important details such as the buyer's comment, the rating type (Positive, Neutral, Negative), the item purchased, and the date.

ReviewVault uses Shopify's native Theme App Extensions, meaning it integrates cleanly without modifying your theme's code directly.

1. On the ReviewVault Dashboard, look for the **Installation** section.
2. Select the theme you want to edit from the **Theme Selection** dropdown (your live theme is usually selected by default).
3. Click the **Open Theme Editor** button. This will open Shopify's Theme Editor in a new tab.
4. In the Theme Editor, navigate to the page where you want to display the reviews (e.g., the Home page, or a dedicated "Reviews" page).
5. Click **Add Section** in the left sidebar.
6. Scroll down to the **Apps** category and select **ReviewVault Reviews**.
7. Drag and drop the section to place it exactly where you want it on the page.
8. Click **Save** in the top right corner of the Theme Editor.

You have complete control over how the reviews look on your store. Customizations can be made in the ReviewVault App under the **Settings** tab.

• Display Settings
  - Layout Mode: Choose between a modern **Grid** layout or a classic **List** layout.
  - Font & Text: Match the text to your store's branding by selecting custom fonts and adjusting text sizes.
  - Colors: Set a custom background color or enable **Theme Match** to seamlessly blend the widget into your theme's native background.
  - Background Image: Premium users can add a custom background image behind the reviews.
  - Subtitles & Buttons: Add a custom subtitle above the widget and configure a "Contact Us" or "View More" button to drive engagement.

• Animation Settings
  - Slider Animation**: Enable smooth, automatic sliding animations for the Grid layout.
  - Frequency**: Adjust how fast the slider moves (e.g., every 5 seconds).

• Review Filtering (Premium Feature)
  Maintain a pristine public image by filtering out less desirable feedback:
  - Hide Neutral Feedback**: Automatically exclude neutral reviews from displaying.
  - Hide Negative Feedback**: Automatically exclude negative reviews.
  - Hide Automated Feedback**: Exclude generic, automated feedback generated by eBay.

After making any changes, remember to click **Save Settings** at the bottom of the page.

Q: My reviews aren't showing up on my storefront.**
- Ensure you have connected your eBay account successfully.
- Verify that you have run the "Import Reviews" action at least once.
- Confirm that you have added the ReviewVault App Block inside your Shopify Theme Editor and saved your theme.

Q: I upgraded my plan, but I'm still limited to 10 reviews.**
- After upgrading, you may need to go to the Settings tab and click **Import Reviews** again and set the limit higher (e.g., 50).

Q: My eBay token expired or disconnected.**
- If you see a notice on your Dashboard asking you to reconnect, simply click the connect button again to refresh your OAuth token. This sometimes happens if your eBay password changes or after a long period of inactivity.
